Wild Country Ropeman 1 Ascender

The Wild Country Ropeman 1 has been Wild Country's best-selling ascender for more than 10 years. It is a compact rope clamp used for hauling, self-rescue, prusiking, building pulley systems and other rope tasks where a light, simple device is useful.

It is sized for ropes from 10 to 13mm, so it works best with the thicker haul ropes common on big walls and in rigging. The flat cam profile is easy to release even under light loads, and forged side plates increase strength while reducing weight. The axle and wire are stainless steel. Available in orange or blue.
